Michelle Shutley, age 48, of Powder Springs, passed away on December 19, 2019 in Cartersville, Ga.
Visitation with service will be held at Southern Cremation and Funerals at 1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta Ga 30064, beginning at 10am. Burial service will be at 1 o’clock, immediately following the service on Saturday, December 21st officiated By Pastor Jeff Priest at Mozley Cemetery, 3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.
Michelle was born in Austell to Rodney Matney and Debra Lee on January 1st, 1971. She attended McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, specifically her granddaughter and best friend, Violet. Michelle made the selfless choice of being an organ donor and with such has helped to save the lives of at two people, continuing her life. She was a treasured family member and friend, but first was a Daughter of Jesus Christ.
Michelle is survived by husband Randy Shutley; her children, Brian ‘Doodle’ Seay, Brent Seay, And Heather Long; Siblings: Tiffany Ross, Kim Smith, Nicole Bishop, Randall Carnes, Jesse Carnes, Margi Ross, Amanda Ross ; Mother, Debra Lee; Grandchildren Violet, Michael, DJ, Zoey, and Kylan.








Michelle was very sweet I love her very much she’s like one of my nieces I adore she had a rough life did she try to do the best that she knew how she loved people and her family and friends loved her very much she will be truly missed but she is in heaven dancing with her sister Melissa now and they are looking down at us and with their sister Suzanne my prayers are for the family for their peace knowing that Debra Michelle is at peace you will be missed baby girl
