She was born in Puerto Rico she knew how vital it was for her to learn a new language. She was fluent in speaking Spanish and English.
Delia was a dedicated printer and trained many others for 22 years at Whitney Printing, Inc. on Genesee Street in Buffalo, New York.
Things we remembered that she enjoyed and loved doing was spending most of her leisure time painting and coloring. Most of all she loved dancing.
She had a way with people when it came to her sense of humor but everybody understood that she was very distinct with it, she knew how to make us all laugh.
We will always remember her when it came to getting ready for those special occasions and she would come into a room and light it up with her smile, high heels, red dress and pink lipstick.
She will sadly be missed the many relatives and friends she leaves behind.
WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND CHERISH HER AND SHE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US IN LOVE AND SPIRIT

Love your daughter,
Lydia
I just wanted to come on here and remember a time with you we all had (well most of us). I shared a picture of us when we went to the beach last and I was pregnant with Zoë. It showed how happy we all were with you and the sun is the perfect metaphor to represent what you all meant to us and how that day just was bright for all of us! New life was on the way, many generations were shown and we all were smiling! You were an amazing woman and I’m grateful for all the times we had together and I know you’re where you are making arroz con gandules 🙂 We miss your funny sayings, stories about your life when you were younger, your food, and most of all your presence that was always so supportive and necessary! You live in each and every one of us! I miss and LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! Until we meet again! Keep doin that tango my dancing abuela!! <3
XOXO
