Domenico Carlo Giannattasio, 'Don Carle'

Domenico Carlo Giannattasio, 76, of Brookhaven, died September 6, 2014 at Saint Joseph's Hospital with family by his side following an extended illness. Don was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 5, 1938 to the late Ralph and Mary Giannattasio. He graduated from Lanier High School in Macon where he grew up. Don was best known for his work with Radio Stations, WKLS and WPCH (Peach 95) where he served for many years as the stations Local Sales Manager. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his son, Jason Landon Giannattasio. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 yrs, Karen E. Giannattasio of Brookhaven; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Russell Hinson of Birmingham AL; son, Damon Giannattasio; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Deborah Giannattasio of Kathleen, GA, other relatives and numerous loving friends. A Rosary service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday the 9th, at the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to service time. Private interment services will be held on Wednesday at Arlington Memorial Park.
