Donald Hill

August 12, 1947 ~ August 28, 2026

Donald Hill was born on August 12, 1947, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Will Hill and Nancy Lou Cox-Hill. As their only child, Donald grew up in LaGrange, where he also attended school and began building the foundation for the hardworking man he would become.

Donald was known throughout his life for his strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to do what needed to be done. He spent many years working doe the Fulton County School System, dedicating a significant part of his life to his career and responsibilities.

On February 19, 1999, Donald was joined in holy matrimony to Imogene Flournoy-Hill. Together, they shared many years of marriage, family, and partnership.

After his retirement, Donald and his wife, Imogene, opened Hill’s Family Daycare together, and he also fully  supported her on her journey as a foster parent.

Donald had a personality all his own. He could certainly be stubborn, nut that same strong-minded nature was also part of what made him determined, dependable, and true to himself. He stood firm in his ways and carried himself with a quiet strength. In his more relaced moments, Donald enjoyed watching Westerns and spending time in the comfort of home.

Donald and Imogene remained together until her passing in 2019 After seven years apart, they are now reunited in eternal rest.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Imogene Flournoy-Hill; his son, Terrence; his parents, Will Hill and Nancy Lou Cox-Hill; and his grandmother, Carry Cocks.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory his children, Quovodua, Tawanda, Arifaha, Audrey, Roderick, Sandy, Gregory, and Willie; is grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family members and friends who will continue to honor, remember, and carry forward the legacy of his life.
