On June 29, 1975, Dwight David Dunham, Jr. was born to Vivian Jones and Dwight Dunham, Sr. in Eustis, FL. Dwight always put his family first and believed that any good man should do the same. He always seemed to have arms that stretched wide enough to embrace those who were not biologically related to him. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him. His family and friends will always remember him as the glue that held them together. He Leaves to Cherish His Memory: His wife and partner of 25 years Nikki Carroll Dunham Son

  8. Nikki, Jovahn, Dunham Family and Friends of Dwight, I’m very sorry for the unexpected and untimely passing of Dwight. Some things in life are hard to explain but have faith that someday you’ll be rejoined with Dwight and you’ll once again be greeted by his warm embrace. Until then remember all of the great times you had and use that to honor his life on earth. Find strength in each other and God as you mourn together. You have our deepest sympathies. Kirk Stelling and Family

  9. Dwight was so quiet and unassuming in most of my encounters with him, but his silence was just fine because what he lacked in words, I saw in his actions. I met Dwight at age 19 and have watched him and his wife Nikki ( who is my oldest sister/ friend in GA) evolve into a loving, committed relationship and friendship. Watching their love grow over the years encouraged me and made my heart smile in knowing that he loved and cared for her in a way that most people wouldn’t understand unless they had an encounter with them. He loved his family selflessly and sacrificially. His heart wanted bless others. even as recently as him reaching out to my daughter who does music and wanting to work with her to pull out her strengths and gifts. He was thoughtful, kind, sacrificial, talented and silently commanding. Dwight..you will be missed, your physical absence is deafening, but your spirit is thunderous. May God be pleased with you and may you rest in paradise with the Lord!

  10. With heartfelt condolences and to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Praying that your hearts will be healed. Rolanda Morrison NCEH/ATSDR

Dwight certainly was an amazing person! I met him in the Fall of 93 at Alabama State after a talent show. I truly enjoyed being in his silent presence but also loved watching him come alive whenever he danced and/or talked about music!
