Edward P. "Eddie" Johnson

Mr. Edward P. "Eddie" Johnson age 76 of Union City passed away Friday at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He was born in East Point, GA, son of the late Frances Marie Phillips and the late Floyd Johnson. He retired with Mirco Bakery and contributed 35 years of service to the company. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Johnson of Union City, Stepsons, Curtis Reichert of Palmetto and Daniel Reichert of Macon, brothers, Ray Johnson of McDonough, Clyde Johnson of Stockbridge, Sister, Thelma Linton of Mcdonough, Betty Wade of Conley, GA, and Mary Ellen Gentry of Stone Mountain, GA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Ferrell Dowdey will officiate. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
