Elizabeth Chadell

July 6, 1965 ~ February 7, 2019

Elizabeth (Liz) Chadell, age 53, passed away February 7, 2019. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Liz was proceeded in death by her mother, Janet Chadell, and her fiancé, Salvatore Duffey. She is survived by her father, Lawrence Chadell; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Jude Chadell; her sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Larsen and Christine and Michael Greenberg; her nieces Marissa Chadell and Samantha Greenberg; her nephews Luke Larsen and John Greenberg; and her best friends, Melissa Grace and Cindy Jacabacci. Liz was a graduate of Massapequa Park High School and was employed for ten years at the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council in Austell, Georgia as a Certification Specialist. Liz had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Please join in celebrating Liz's life on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Columbarium at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill. A graveside service will be conducted in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial donations to the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, 1850 Lake Park Dr., Suite 101, Smyrna, GA 30080, 770-333-5930.

  2. I regret to never have gotten to meet Liz in person. Whenever I needed help with anything at POST she was always the person with the right answers. Her customer service skills were beyond anything you would expect. Always willing to help. My prayers go out to all who knew her. Liz will truly be missed.

  3. I worked with Liz at Pergaments in LI. She was an amazing person and we always had a great time and a lot of laughs. She always had that big beautiful “smile “ for everyone. My condolences to her family and all who knew her and loved her. May she Rest In Peace.

  6. February 7, 2019 was a sad day on earth for all who knew Liz. We worked together at POST and her infectious smile and laughter will always be remembered by all who met her. I missed her before she left this earth, yet I find comfort in knowing she is with her Sal. Fly high sweet angel and enjoy your pain free happily ever after with Sal. Until we meet again! ❤️

  7. Honor to have known you, Liz. I can’t believe you’re gone! You will be missed. Even though you didn’t want visitors, I am so glad I got to see you in the hospital. You still managed to smile that day!

    I can still remember the impression you left on me when I first met you. You were 16 and I was 9 years old. I felt like the coolest kid ever to be hanging out with someone so cool, beautiful and put together! I absolutely looked up to you. Thank you for always being so sweet and kind to me. You will be missed immensely. I pray you are at peace and will watch over your loved ones. I will never forget your beauty inside & out, and especially those gorgeous eyes of yours!   10. Thoughts and prayers for Liz’s blood family and her family at POST. Liz will be missed for sure. As others have said, she was always willing to help us when we had an issue with getting a class set up or fixing a class roster issue. Go rest easy Liz….we’ll take it from here.   17. My prayers are with Ms. Liz and her family. I never met her personally but dealt with her weekly for the past 5 years. I loved our long chats and your willingness to help me out as I learned and fix the glitches that would arise. I always hung up with a smile on my face no matter what kind of day I was having. You will be sorely missed.

  19. I am heartbroken to hear this news. Liz was a shining light when she was my point of contact for work. She was never anything short of friendly. She loved me sending her pictures of my dogs and even asked for updates with their names when we spoke. I cannot believe this and I am so sorry to her friends and family. What a loss, thoughts and prayers to all.
