Elsie Mae Hunter, 77, passed away Friday, July 06, 2012 at Fairburn Healthcare Center in Fairburn, GA. Ms. Hunter was born in Jefferson, GA on January 8th, 1934. She is the daughter of the late Thomas Clifford Jordan, and Pearly Mae Frix. She was a homemaker and housewife. She was the widow of the late Doyle Leonard Hunter Sr., and is preceded in death by her son; Charles Hunter. Survivors include, Daughters: Shirley Bright of Union City, GA, Cathy Hunter of Union City, GA, Peggy Bright of Union City, GA. Sons: Doyle Hunter Jr. of Union City, GA, Dewey Eugene Hunter of Union City, GA, and Robert Hunter of Union City. Grandchildren: Ray Merritt, Kimberly Henry, Billy Bright Jr., Tonya Bright, Curtis Bright Jr., Crystal Bright, Jeffrey Hunter, Tony Bright, and Lee Hunter. Great-Grandchildren: Rachael Merritt, Amanda Merritt, Chelsie Merritt, Josh Henry, Nichols Henry, Emma Bright, Darien Bright, and Jaylin Bright. Brothers & Sisters: Jimmy Jordan, L.C. Jordan, J.C. Jordan, James Jordan, Robert Jordan, William Jordan, and Thelma Pursell. A funeral service will be held for Ms. Hunter on Sunday July 8th, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family on Saturday July 7th, 2012 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
