Emma Jean Bolton Hill was born on July 14, 1945, as the 10th child of E. M. and Cleamaude Smith Bolton. It was an exciting time to welcome their second daughter. Emma departed this life on July 19, 2026, destined for her Heavenly Home.
Emma was educated in The Coweta County School System.
She met and married her first husband Joe B. Mims. Years later after this marriage ended, she met and married Roger L. “Cat Daddy” Hill.
Emma lived a life of compassion and would give all children a place to live and thrive when they were in need. She enjoyed being a mom to her own children and the children of the community.
She was employed by Hardee’s for over 20 years where she baked their breakfast biscuits.
She is survived by her brother, Melvin Bolton (Verna) of Atlanta, 5 children; COL Tina Hill Miller (Montgomery) of Senoia, Derek R. Hill (Joshua) of Kennesaw, Terrance D. Hill, A. Claudell Hill, and Marquist L. Hill, and her nephew Clifford J. Bolton that she raised, all of Newnan, 16 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and a host of Relatives and Friends.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Hill, 3 sons, Terome L. Mims, Stephan G. Hill, and Master Antione L. Hill, 11 siblings, and her parents E. M. and Cleamaude Bolton.
Emma, Emma, Emma, we have called her name 3 times and she did not answer, therefore, she must be absent from her Earthly body.
Let it be known she has answered the call of our Savior Jesus Christ; however, she will live forever in the hearts and minds of everyone who loved her.
