Evelyn Frances Ergle

Evelyn Hampton Ergle, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2019, at Country Gardens Assisted Living where she has resided since 2014. She was born the fourth of five children to Nathan and Mittie (Alford) Ferguson of Ft. Worth, Texas,on January 7, 1932. She moved to Atlanta, GA, in 1951 and married Robert James (Bob) Hampton. Bob and Evelyn raised 6 children. She eventually married Lonnie Frank Ergle who had 4 grown children of his own. She is preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings except the youngest, one of her sons, and both husbands. She is survived by fivechildren, fourstep-children and a plethora of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn will be sorely missed by family and friends who enjoyed her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and high-spirited love of adventure.
