Frances Curry Bruce

June 24, 1931 ~ July 28, 2026

Mrs. Frances Curry Bruce of Marietta, Georgia passed away July 28, 2026, at the age of 95.

Frances was most content with her family by her side, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether tending to her garden, feeding and admiring every bird that passed through, marveling as summer leaves were painted into the brilliant colors of autumn, or hunting waterfalls, she found peace in the world around her. Frances also found joy with her lifelong dance partner, square dancing with the biggest smile on her face.

Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was the family she loved so dearly.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Herman H. Curry and Margaret F. Curry, her siblings Evelyn Hagerty, Margaret Jean Wilburn and John Curry. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James M. Bruce; sons James A. Bruce (Dana); Steven B. Bruce (Jill); and her daughter Susan B. Quattrocchi (John); grandchildren, Thomas Quattrocchi, Bradley Gentry, Mary Quattrocchi Deadrick, Carley Bruce and Joshua Bruce; great-grandchildren, Juniper Deadrick, Lorelei Deadrick and Noah Gentry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11:00am at the Southern Cremations & Funerals Chapel. Visitation will be followed by a 12:00 funeral service at the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made, in her name, to the Light of Hope Presbyterian Church in Marietta.
