Georgia E. James was born on January 7, 1947 in Hot Spring, Arkansas to the union of Edna and Johnny Johnson. In the early fifties the family relocated to Fort Wayne, IN where Georgia attended both elementary and high school. Georgia met and married Wilie A. Williams in 1964, who preceded Georgia in death, the union born two children, Leotis A. Williams and Stefanie R. Williams (Hinton). Georgia remarried to Rufus L. James in 1987, union born 2 children, Sabrina N. James (Swann), and Sherreda S. James. Rufus preceded Georgia in death in 2002. Georgia was employed at ITT Aerospace of Fort Wayne, IN for twenty-one years. She was lifelong, active member of the Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army, Georgia enjoyed serving God using her talents of cooking and singing. Georgia also enjoyed gardening, shopping, spending time with family and vacationing. Georgia also preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Ulysess and Ammie Harris, brothers, Breon Harris, Calvin Johnson, Lee O. Johnson, and granddaughter, Isabella Noe
Georgia leaves to rejoice in her memory four children, Leotis, Stefanie (Reginald), Sabrina (Daniel), and Sherreda, 4 sisters, Joyce, Patricia (Lee), Ramona (James), and Janace, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and her church family.
