I will always remember Glen sitting around the fire at deer camp telling stories and cracking jokes. He always made everyone laugh. Rest In Peace my friend , you will be missed.
I will never forget me and Glenn hunting on the creek, I had missed a four pointer that morning. We went back to camp for a while then went back out that afternoon. I saw that four pointer on the other side of the creek going toward Glenn. A few minutes later he shot. He hollers across the creek hey Elaine I got your four you missed this morning. I couldn’t do anything but giggle. Walked out to where Glenn was and told him yeah that’s the one. We both just laughed and waited on Jeff to come drag it out.
Dear Joanie and Matt, We love You. Bobbie,Joe,Ellen& Logan
With loving memories of “Glen Whitaker”,
Fishing one night we were in one boat, Glen and Mary Ellen were in his boat and our buddy JW was in another boat. Us Glen and Mary Ellen were catching the crappie like crazy. JW wasn’t catching nothing. After a few hours of this Glen caught a crappie and said “There that’s how you catch them JW” and threw that darned crappie and hit JW square in the forehead!! Danny and I laughed so hard we almost fell out of the boat! When Glen left we were still fishing and he got halfway to the boat ramp and Mary Ellen gave him so much hell about hitting JW with that fish that Glen turned around came back and gave JW all the fish they had caught. You taught me a lot through the years showed me some great fishing and hunting spots and I will miss you dearly!

Glen was a good man, he would give you the shirt off his back, I always thought of him as a gentle giant, he was a great story teller about the hunting and fishing trips that Him, Paul, Clarence would go on, you would laugh at all the mischief that they did to each other, they truly loved each other, Glen will forever be in our hearts, ❤️❤️

Glen was a wonderful person who treated all of his nieces and nephews as little queens & little kings. Glen was every young family member’s favorite uncle! He had a wonderful sense of humor which enamored him to the entire family. Now he is in our hearts!
