My Mom, my friend, my teacher. She is in a better place now but I will miss holding her hand, brushing her hair, and baking goodies for her. I miss how your eyes twinkled when you smiled and how you always seemed to make things better. I love you Mom and you will always be in my heart, your daughter, Hazel.
Grandma was the softest, kindest most gentle women you had ever met. She smiled with overwhelming love every time she saw you and wouldn’t want to let you go from one of her hugs. She loved her family and took care of all of us in her own special way. She was smart and humble and taught me to be the same. I will forever remember the way she looked at her son, my dad, in amazement and pride of the man he grew up to be. Love you so much Grandma. <3 Katie
We love you grandmother. Watch over us as we make our journey. Love John Edward
Mom, your the best ,and never will be forgotten. I’ll always miss you and dad. I know your with him together again and holding hands . The two of you looking down upon your children and their families watching over all of us. The only good part is knowing that the two of you are rekindling your love in heaven. I’m thankful that I had understanding , loving parents like you. I could not ask for better. Enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven as it must be a wonderful place as God has promised.
Love , Your Son Edward
My mother in law was indeed a very special woman. She had a way of making anyone feel welcome. I never heard an unkind word pass her lips. Her quiet dignity spoke volumes about her character. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.. When I reflect on her life I saw one that was well lived. She loved travel and with her husband Henry visited many nations around this world. She appreciated the benefits of her life and never put on airs. To me she was the epitome of a fine southern woman: kind, caring, attentive, gracious and welcoming. I miss her and her coy smile . I believe she is now in Heaven experiencing the joy of reuniting with others who had gone before her and all are living in the presence of our Divine Creator. Hallelujah!!!
My grandmother… I dont know how to put in to words the woman she was. She showed love with no boundries, she showed strength without limits. She will be missed truly and I can only hope that I will be half the woman she was. Love you.
Hazel Kinkead was a woman who lived more than anybody I’ve ever known. She has visited places and seen sights I can’t even conceive of. And she managed to do that while raising two of the best children a family could ask for. While she will always be missed, she lives on through her legacy of those she leaves behind. My fondest memories will be of the times she would take me to the library while I was visiting. She was always legitimately interested in what i was reading, and taught me how to think critically about the book. From a family that will always remember you, we love you.
