Herbert Leon Rogers, age 72, of Fairburn, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was born on July 14, 1947, in Cincinnati, OH, to George Rogers and Flossie (Perry) Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Rogers and brother, Bobby Rogers.
He is survived by: children, Michael Rogers of Fairburn, Adam Rogers of Peachtree City, Randy Rogers (Misty) of Manchester, and Becky Vaughn (Johnny) of Villa Rica; 13 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Southern Cremations & Funerals at Holly. Chaplain Tom Lee will officiate. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.

Herbert was a great man. He loved and gave all for his family. He stood up for what he thought was right regardless of what others thought. He’d give you the shirt off his back and the food from his table. He lived for his family and only wanted to give. He never wanted anything for himself.
My best memory of uncle Herbert calling me Barbara Jr. I love you Uncle Herbert R.I.P. give all our loved ones a hug and kiss from me ..Polly Blair Young .
