The 7th child out of 10, she attended Marietta High School from 1966-1970. She later moved to Indiana for a year and eventually returned in 1972. She worked at a host of placing including JC Penny, Pace Warehouse, Kroger, Kohls, The Georgia Aquarium, Belk, and Napa. She was great at what she did. She was a devoted mother to her children and loved ones. Her dedication was driven by her up bringing. Coming up in the time period she did, you can not help but to grow more than your fare share of gray hairs. She could not always provide us with the things we wanted, but she always provided the things needed. And for the things we wanted, she would politely slide over a "Job Application". Growing up we did not always have enough money for a baby sitter and our mother, being owner of a cleaning service, had no choice but to brings us along to help her clean the banks. This taught us a lot at an early age about the Value of a Dollar and hard work. Now being older we realize our mother was teaching us a life lesson that nothing is going to be given to you in life. If you want something, you have to be dependable, have dedication, and work hard to obtain the desires in life. Jacqueline did everything she could for her family and friends. We can all take comfort in knowing that she is at peace now and reunited with some family and loved ones in Heaven. Jacqueline is survived by her four children; Dishone McConnell-Lewis, Bernard Tucker, Norman Tucker, and Paul Tucker, her siblings, and a host of family and relatives. She will be deeply missed

  1. To the McConnell-Tucker family: May the Lord continue to Bless you all and cover you with his love. Jackie loved her family and friends. She Was kind and caring. Let’s remember her positive attitude and loving heart. We should honor her memory by being the same way. I will always remember her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. Marcia Scott

  2. My dear Aunt. I am at a loss for words. Family was so important to you. My favorite memory of Aunt Jack was at the last family gathering we had and we were at Shone’s. She was making her EPIC Mac and Cheese. She was so in her element entertaining, cooking and with family. It was such a good time. I will miss our talks and her texts on my birthday and holidays. I will remember her laughter, her sense of humor, and her free spirit. Much love to my Aunt “Jacq”. Gone but never forgotten. Sending my love to my cousins, Shone, Bernie, Paul, and Norman. I love you all and find comfort in knowing that through Christ this is not a good-bye but a “see you later.” We will see her again!

    With you Always…
    By Laurie L. Michael-Tucker With You Always…
I can soar, I can fly It is beautiful here
    The sun always shines
I am at peace I have no more pain
I know my family misses me, but I am with them always Don’t cry for me because I have lived, and now I am free so dry your tears You will see me again and we will embrace But until that day, I am with you always….
