James L Dyer, Jr.

James L Dyer Jr was born on the 4th of July 1931 to the proud parents of James L Dyer and Edna Robinson Dyer in Marietta, GA. (Both deceased). He attended Lemon Street School in Marietta, where he was an active Football and basketball athlete. James was an Air Force and Army Veteran he joined the U.S. Air Force at Keebler Air Force Base. He later married Dorothy Morris (deceased) and to that union two children were born James L Dyer III (Deceased) and Valerie Dyer. He remained in Marietta most of his life but worked for companies including Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, WA and the CDC here in Atlanta. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Cole Street Baptist Church where he was an ordained minister. In later years James joined the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness where he was loved and cared for by many members. He leaves to mourn his daughter Valerie Wilson, son Edward Kidd (Cynthia), Brother Edwin L Dyer (Betty). two granddaughters Monica Wilson and April Johnson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friend
