Janie Ruth Piper Jeffares

Janie Ruth Piper Jeffares of Marietta, GA died on Tuesday, March 22nd at Wellstar Cobb Hospital following a short illness. She was born December 16, 1933 in Covington, GA. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie, of 65 years; her three children, Larry Jeffares, Denise Carter, and Donna Pratten; her nine grandchildren; and her twelve great-grandchildren. Janie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held at the Cheatham Hills Chapel* from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday March 23rd. The funeral will be held at the Cheatham Hills Memorial Park on March 24th at 2 pm followed by an interment ceremony immediately following.
