Jeff Martin Wilson Jr., 83, of Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2020. Jeff was born to Jeff Martin Wilson and Minnie Mae Ferguson, July 21, 1937, in Wisner, Louisiana. He graduated from Tallulah High School in 1955. He married Almut Wagner and they lived together in Augusta, GA. where they had two children. He later married Donna Sue Aldridge and they lived together in Marietta, GA. where they had one child. He leaves as his legacy three children: Dr. Martin Ralph Wilson the youngest of the three, with his wife Christy Wilson and grandchild Jaxson Rhett Wilson, Michael Wilson (Wagner) the oldest of the three, Veronica Wilson (Wagner) the middle child. He also leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Donna Sue Wilson and one sibling, Mollie YuVonne Wilson McGraw-Bishop his sister. His children remember him as a strong, proud, and loving father. He was preceded in death by Jeff Martin Wilson (father), Minnie Mae Wilson (mother), Charles Edward Wilson (brother), Ralph Morris Wilson (brother), Herbert Milton Wilson (brother), Harvey William (Pete) Wilson (brother), and Irma Jean Wilson-Newell (sister). Jeff Wilson was a military man. He served six years in the United States Army and another fourteen years in the United States Air Force, before retiring after twenty years of service. Following his military service, he worked at the boat club on Lake Lanier, then went on to become the manager at the NCO Club at Dobbins Air Force Base. He continued to help friends and loved ones with additional jobs like landscaping, remodeling, and electrical work throughout his retirement. A cremation ceremony and gathering, along with military honors, is scheduled for Wednesday September 23, 2020, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Southern Cremations and Funeral Home in Marietta, GA. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to completely celebrate the life of Jeff M. Wilson Jr. The family would like to thank all those who have reached out, gave their thoughts, condolences, and prayers during this time. Jeff will truly be missed, but he’ll always loved and remembered.
