Jennie Ann DeMarco

Jennie Ann DeMarco was born April 15, 1936 to Carmen and Bernice Fosco in Chicago, Il. She passed away on June 25, 2020 in Hiram, Ga. Jennie grew up and graduated from Gage Park High School in June 1954. Jennie stayed home to care for her 5 children. After raising her children, Jennie pursued different careers as a meat cutter at Dominic's, service clerk at Jewels, instructional aid at Phillip Rock school for deaf and blind children, and a landscape designer at Daubner’s nursery. In 1996 Jennie moved from Chicago to Georgia. She started working as a cashier in the cafeteria at Douglas Hospital. She retired in 2000. Jennie loved her animals. Throughout the years, she had many Great Danes the last one being Max who was so loved by all. Later on she raised Bishons. Two that she adored were Zoey and Bitsey. Her last dog being Abby. Jennie enjoyed gardening, writing and spending time with her family. She always loved to take care of her grandchildren and give out toys on Christmas and their birthdays. Jennie enjoyed shopping with her girls and going out to eat with them. When Jennie couldn’t go out anymore, she would do online shopping (Tina). Jennie was preceded in death by her parents Carmen and Bernice Fosco of Chicago, Il, Joesphine Grisbeck, Marietta Nepil, Benny Grysbeck, and Busha---all who helped to raise her. She was also preceded in death by her brother Carmen Fosco Jr., her beloved son Steven J DeMarco, and grandsons Adam DeMarco and Carmen Demarco. Jennie is survived by her first love Vince DeMarco, her daughters Joy DeMarco, Tina Divito, and Lori Wieszchowski (Nicky Stevens), her son Jeff DeMarco (Sally), grandchildren Brandon (Christy) Favia, Jason (Tiffany) Favia, Robert Patterson, Jennifer (Brandon) Brown, Michael (Courtney) Wieszchowski, Tina (Andrew) Perea, Nicole (Devan) Bosquet, Christopher Wieszchowski, Steven (Jessica) DeMarco Jr., Hailee Nichols, Aimee Nichols, Robert (Teresa) Divito Jr., Vincent Divito, and Dominick DeMarco. Jennie had 16 great grandchildren. In addition, Jennie had many cousins, nephews and nieces.

  2. When I met Jenny she was so kind and always helpful. She had a sense of love for all she came in contact with. Her door was always open as she loved us all. Her words were always kind and encouraging! She loved parties and family gatherings. I will miss all the positive and optimistic energy on Facebook, especially when it came to her love for animals. Miss you Jenny, love ya and see you soon.

  4. Cousin Jennie you were my role model growing up. Loved visiting you in Park Forest Lombard & New Jersey helping babysit your children. Your love for them is why I have 5 children. My deepest condolences to Joy, Tina, Lori & Jeff.
