John Wayne Mayo

Mr. John Wayne Mayo of Fairburn, Georgia passed away on December 29, 2010. He was the son of the late Clifford Lamar Mayo and Etheleen Walker Mayo. He is preceded in death by two sons: Danny Mayo and Jimmy Bishop; brother Randy Mayo. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Brenda Kay Mayo; children: Robert Wayne Mayo Dorothy Tarrer, Gail Edwards, and Theresa Worley; 16 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 31, 2010 from 1PM until 3PM at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 431 SW Broad St. Fairburn, GA 30213. Services honoring Mr. Mayo will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 3PM with the Reverend L.C. Spivey officiating.   2. piece of junk.Tony my husband worked on John’s automobiles which was his s10 also.I overheard Tony tell John one day in the back yard,man you need to get rid of this piece of junk, and John said what do you suggest I do with it,Tony said oh I don’t know,just leave it down here and I’ll find something to do with it,John said yeah like drive it.They both laughed,always kidding with each other.He will be truly missed.
