Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Johnnie Ray Damron, age 28, of Atlanta, Georgia passed on Monday July 22, 2013. Johnnie was born in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Baptist Hospital on April 25, 1985; weighing only 3lbs and 7.5oz. He was the firstborn to Laura Joganic and Lonnie Damron.
Johnnie worked as a landscaper at "White Oak Leaf Landscaping", and picked up side jobs whenever possible. Johnnie was a man that was extremely humble and very easy to please. He craved a simple life based on hard work and peace. Johnnie valued his family above all, and also took pride and love in his family. He would go to the extra mile to help a family member that was in need.
This may be a time to mourn Johnnie's death, but that's not what Johnnie would've wanted. He would want everyone to dig deep in their memories shared with him, and celebrate his life, his qualities and traits, and his accomplishments.
Johnnie is survived by his parents, Laura Joganic and Lonnie Damron; his brother, Alexander Damron; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rest in peace … Hard to believe your gone at such a young age. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Johnnie came into our lives a little over a month ago. Even though it was such a short time to know him I could see what a good person he was. He was a giving person, always thinking of others before himself. My granddaughter adored him. We loved him and will miss him always.

Today is the anniversary and it’s hard to believe it’s been a year. I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence and often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. God has you in his keeping and I have you in my heart. I love and miss you very much Johnnie.
