Laura Lynn Wilson

Laura Lynn Wilson passed away peacefully in Hospice care on August 13,2020, due to complications from several health issues, including Covid-19. Lynn was born April 19,1948. She attended Southwest High School in Atlanta and attended Georgia Southern College. She was a flight attendant with Southern Airway. She married Calvin Wilson, and had the one son. Ryan William Wilson in 1985, who was her pride and joy. She later worked with Equifax, Home Depot, and as a school bus driver. She was predeceased by her father, William Lawrence Martinell, her husband, Calvin Wilson and her brother-in-law, Herb Emory. She is survived by her beloved son Ryan, her mother, Joan Martinell, her sister: Patty Baker (John) of Windsor, Colorado, Karen Emory of Dallas, GA, Robyn Adams of Senoia, GA, a brother, Bill Martinell of Eugene, OR., a sister-in-law Martha Wilson, and several nephews and nieces. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when gatherings are safe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Atlanta Humane Society Mansell Campus..
