Linda Goldstein

Linda Joy Goldstein, 73, long time Powder Springs resident passed away peacefully Saturday May 16, 2020. Linda was known for her kindness, smile and a never complain attitude throughout the course of her many years fighting multiple sclerosis. She loved animals and was happiest surrounded by her beloved cats. She took great pride in caring for sick and injured animals as well. Her huge heart was a great inspiration to all. We loved her dearly. She was proceeded in death by her parents Fred and Winifred Taylor, and husband Alan Goldstein. She is survived by her son, Robert (Amy) and her two granddaughters, Maya and Madison. Her beloved sisters, Nancy Evans (Richard), Barbara Platt (Edward), Joan Duggan (Greg). Nieces and nephews also survive her along with many loved ones and friends. Linda will be cremated by Southern Cremations & Funerals Cheatham Hill, Marietta. Due to COVID-19 and the safety of the community we ask that you celebrate Linda through sharing great memories in place of a gathering.   1. Although I never met her outside of social media, I considered her a great friend. She will be very missed.

  2. Linda was the most caring and loving person. She was the Linda the animal lady of the neighborhood. My kids and every other kid in the neighborhood would bring her animals that they found no matter what it was she took it in and didn’t matter what kind shape it brought to her. Yeck I even brought her a few. She wound feed our dogs when we would go out of down. We all loved her.

  5. I have a heavy heart after reading of Linda’s passing. She was a dear friend back in high school and beyond. Her smile was one that made you glad you were with her. She came to some of the gigs I played back in the 60’s and loved music as much as I did. I will surely miss messaging her on Facebook . My condolences to the family . I had started to write something earlier today but lost it somehow. RIP lovely lady.
