Mandy Churney

November 27, 1983 ~ April 17, 2019

Marsha Amanda “Mandy” Churney, age 35, of Milton, VT passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019. The family will receive friends at visitation from 2-4 pm on Saturday, April 27th at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill in Marietta. Funeral Services and Burial will immediately follow. Born in Conyers, GA, Mandy lived most of her life in the Atlanta area before moving to Vermont. She graduated from Heritage High School, then attended Gwinnett Technical College where she received her Associates Degree. Afterwards, she worked as a Surgical Technician. Survivors include the love of life of 14+ years, Matthew Noonan, Milton VT; Parents, Martin & Sherri Churney, Marietta, GA; Siblings Drew (Erin) Churney, Duluth, GA; Zac Churney, Suwanee, GA; Bo Churney (Preceded in Death 2018); Maternal Grandmother, Carol Herring, Loganville, GA: Paternal Grandfather: Frank Churney, Ringgold, GA; Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and her prized puppy dog, Reese. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you tell the people you love, particularly your children and family, that you love them. If you are so inclined, please volunteer or donate to your local animal rescue/shelter in Mandy’s honor.

  6. I had the pleasure of working with Mandy on many occasions at UVMMC. It was always fun and a chance to talk about life outside of VT. My heart breaks for Noonan, Reese and Mandy’s family. I’m so very sorry.
