Mary Dora Roth (nee Thomas), 82, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on November 29, 2020
after an extended illness. She had relocated from Maryland to Georgia in 2013 to be closer to
her son and his wife.
Mary was born in Lutherville, MD, on February 16, 1938, to Ralph and Clara Thomas. She was one of eight children. Mary graduated from Franklin High School in 1956, and worked at a variety of businesses before retiring from Coldwell Banker Property Management Division in the early 1990’s. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Mary is survived by her son, Eugene “E.G”. and his wife, Darlene, her grandchildren; Brandon,
Brianna (husband Dylan) and Brett, great granddaughter, Lillie, and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Eugene Roth, Sr., parents; Ralph Herbert and Clara Belle Thomas, her sisters; Frances (husband Irvin), Grace (husband Albert), Dorothy (husband Tom), Audrey (husband Ronald), Evelyn (husband Earl) and two brothers; Ralph (wife Rolanda) and Wayne (wife Joy).
A graveside funeral service will be held at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, Maryland in
January 2021. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Southern Cremations Funeral Home in Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital by accessing their website www.stjude.org.
