Michael Barry Zuckerman

August 2, 1948 ~ April 30, 2019

Michael Zuckerman peacefully passed into the loving arms of his Messiah Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Born in Miami Beach, FL, in 1948, he is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Renae, son Israel, daughter Moriah, and granddaughter Makayla, of Atlanta. Also, by his niece, Judy and her husband Greg Serra, grandnephew Justin; cousins Randy and her husband Stan Zucker, Iris and her husband Bob Chapman, Nancy Zuckerman, and Neil Zuckerman. Michael was born Jewish. After meeting his Messiah, Jesus (Yeshua), at age 30, Michael set out with zeal and passion telling his Jewish and Gentile friends how to have eternal life. His calling was to teach the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, and he did it well. He also led many tours to his beloved Israel where he inspired those who walked in Yeshua's footsteps to allow Him to live through them every day. He challenged us with this scripture “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'They shall prosper who love thee.’ ” Psalm 122:6. Please join us for a graveside service at Noon, Monday, May 6, at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, phone 404.755.6611. Paul Diamond will be officiating. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, at Congregation Beth Hallel, 950 Pine Grove Rd, Roswell, GA 30075. 1. We have wonderful memories with you guys. Michael was a great blessing to me and our family. We pray God’s continued grace and peace. Mucho love and prayers. Sam Calleiro and the Calleiro Family.

    • I had the great pleasure of knowing this great man. He was one of the first people I met at Beth Hallel. He welcomed me with open arms. I went to Israel with him with his beautiful wife, Renae also. I stayed in Michael’s room while in Israel. (long story) I woke up early one morning and he was davening at the window with his tallit and tefillin. He explained that we must be more righteous than the unbelievers. And he was. He was one true friend. He never judged me and I never judged him. He was a prince of a man. The Lord, no doubt is still celebrating his arrival. Thank you Michael for your life that was dedicated to the G-d of Israel. I am sad now but I will see you again. For that I am truly thankful. In the name of Y’shua, moshiach of Israel, Amen.

  2. Michael was a wonderful man to know and work with. I’ll never forget his good humor and gentle nature. I’m quite sure he’s looking down from heaven, chomping on a fat cigar with that big friendly smile. My condolences to Renae and the kids. God blessed us with his life among us. ~Christopher Jones

  3. Are we THE TRUTH, or …, are we Not? This is THE QUESTION that we ought, … To Ask Ourselves on Every Day; … Say what we mean; Do what we say, … And we shall see A Better Day …
