Mr. Gary Alan Horn

Mr. Gary Horn was born May 14, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan. When he was 6 weeks old his family relocated to Pensacola, Florida where he grew up and graduated from Escambia High School. 1969 he left to attend Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While at Ferris, Gary met his future wife, Jane Mary Atman of Holland, Michigan. They were married on May 26th 1972. They lived in Hastings, Michigan, where their two daughters Melissa and Julie were born. In 1987 they moved to Enterprise, Alabama, where he attended George Wallace College and received a degree in Respiratory Therapy. He worked in the Respiratory Therapy field both in Albany, GA and Marietta, GA. He was a Lead Emissions inspector for Parson's and a Parts Driver for Advance Auto Parts. Gary retired disabled in 2013 due to an Auto Immune Disease illness Mr. and Mrs. Horn recently moved to Rockmart, GA when Gary was diagnosed with cancer. He was at home under Hospice care with his wife and daughters present at the time of his passing. Mr. Horn is survived by his wife of 43 years Jane Atman Horn, Mrs. Melissa Horn Moody, Mrs. Julie Horn Marsh, both of Acworth. His brother Barry Horn of Newburg, Or. Mr. Horn was blessed with 5 Grandchildren, Kayli Moody, Kristen Moody, Jonathan Marsh, Sarah Grace Marsh and Anna Marsh. He will always be in our hearts.
