William Enoch Wiley (The Kid) 65, Douglasville, GA passed away on July 11, 2016 at 4:00 am from a sudden illness. Born June 29, 1951 in Evansville, IN to Dorothy Mae Baity and Marion Laforge Wiley, SR. He had 3 brothers: Marion Laforge Wiley, Jr., Malcolm Douglas Wiley, and Vatheasus Wiley, 4 sisters: Marie Harris, Londoria (Lee) Grubbs, Betty (Ronald) Hamlin, and Delphine Wiley. Married Lavern Gathings in Rockford, IL November 11, 1973. Attended Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, IN. Received his degree at Rock Valley College for Journeyman Carpenter, with Local Union 792, Rockford, IL. Helped build the Byron Nuclear Power Plants in Byron, IL. Relocated to Atlanta, GA where as a foreman helped build The Olympic Village, as well as employed at McCarthy Construction. His hobbies included basketball (Corner Man), jogging, golf, and wrestling. He was an avid bass player and loved jazz music with a passion. He was a Chicago Bears fanatic. He was a joke teller, always told great stories and loved his family. Survived by his children, Takesha Latrice Wiley, Jacqueline (Jonah) Ndukwe, and William Enoch Wiley, Jr., 10 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
