Barbara Helen Lampp, 78 years of Acworth, died January 1, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side following an extended illness.
Barbara was born here in Marietta, GA to the late Hubert and Hazel Gravely Pannell.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Lampp is also preceded in death by her brother Hugh L. Pannell and his wife, Betty.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, shopping and yard sales, movies, country music, fishing and travelling.
Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years; John Wayne Lampp of Acworth, son; Robert Lee Crowe, Jr. of Dallas, daughter; Kimberly Susan Crowe of Acworth, son; John Wayne Lampp, Jr. and his wife Tegan of Jasper, daughter; Lesa Lampp Camp and her husband Lester of Griffin, grandchildren; Zackary Austin Crowe of Dallas, Kina Nicole Crowe of Dallas, Jacob Wesley Lampp of Jasper, Marissa Shannon Lampp of High Springs, FL., John Wayne Lampp, III of Jasper and James Scott Lampp of Jasper, sisters Frances Long and her husband Jimmy of Marietta, Polly Graham and her husband Neil of Acworth, Jeanette Owen of Dallas, Billi Jo Gramling of Marietta, Anne Pannell of Marietta and brother Doyal Pannell and his wife Evelyn of Marietta, numerous other relatives and loving friends.
Private family Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday, January 5, 2015 in the Chapel of Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Interment will follow in the Cemetery. Neil Graham and Dr. Cindye Coates will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
