Bennie Louise George, age 77 , of Powder Springs died May 22, 2014 at her residence following and extended illness with family by her side. Bennie was born in Marietta on December 24, 1936 to the late Everett and Thelma Pulliam Ellis. She was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her sister; Jaunita Kuenneke of Springhill, FL., brothers; Benson Ellis of Struthers, OH, Dempsey Ellis of Dallas and Lautt Ellis of East point. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years; Charles Edward George of Powder Springs, sons; Charles George, II of Jasper and Robert George of Decatur, daughters; Carol Ivey of Cartersville and Margaret Bowden of Douglasville, Grandchildren; Charles George, III of Canton, Craig George of Ball Ground, Joseph Bowden of Douglasville, Kayla Bowden of Douglasville, Benjamin Bowden of Douglasville and Amanda George of Decatur, sister; Judy Cobb of Dallas, brothers; George Ellis of Dallas and Mike Ellis of Columbus, OH, numerous other relatives and loving friends.
