Mrs. Muriel L. Lascari

March 14, 1923 ~ November 15, 2014

Muriel Lascari born March 14, 1923 passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2014. She was a dedicated wife, wonderful mother, proud grandmother and adoring great grandmother well known for her fiery wit, unabashed sense of humor, perfect delivery of a one-liner and always saving room for dessert. She is survived by her adoring husband of 71 years, Joseph Lascari, loving son Tom Lascari (Ro) of New Mexico, devoted daughter and supportive son-in-law Joanne and Roy Duque of Georgia, grandchildren Tina Hellsten of Texas, Michelle Sauls (Chris) of Georgia, Thomas Giordano-Lascari (Carrie) of California, Brittany Duque of Georgia and great grandchildren Jack (TX), Sebastian (NM), Elizabeth (GA) and Isabella (CA.) She is also survived by her brother Ted LePage (Flo) of Connecticut, her best friend and sister Gladys Mitchell of Florida, Rob Wilkin (Terri) of Florida who was a son to her and his children Stephanie Goyne (Rick) of Iowa and Robert Wilkin, Jr of Florida, both of whom she considered grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Jack Lascari (CO) and her grandson Zachary Lascari (NM.) Muriel leaves behind a legacy of laughter and memories that will be forever cherished by those who knew her. Services to honor her life will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Catholic Church of St. Ann. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
