Norma Lucille Moore Hession, born in Douglas, Arizona on April 14, 1929 to George Samuel and Stella Ramona Corey Moore, passed away on March 8, 2019.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as an entrepreneur, owning three antique shops, named “Another Time”.
Norma and Art had many dear friends in Tampa and spent many years travelling across the United States and Europe. Life was a grand adventure for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Arthur Hession and her only son, Patrick Brian Hession, killed in Vietnam on May 6, 1968.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara L. Rogers, husband Stephen L. Rogers of Acworth and Denise M. Hession, husband Todd R. Smiley of Marietta; grandchildren, Thomas Patrick Glenz, wife Sarah, Aaron Willis, Austin Willis, wife Stephanie, and Alex Willis, wife Meghan; great-grandchildren, Amanda Glenz, Knox Willis, Aspen Willis and Addison Willis.
A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Columbarium, 1861 Dallas Highway SW, Marietta, GA 30064, with a reception immediately following.
