Ortagus Cortez Adams

Ortagus Cortez Adams was born on June 13, 1985, in Clarksdale,
Mississippi, to Louis Green and the late Bobbie Adams. On June 13,
2026 he departed this life at the age of 41.
Ortagus was a man who took great pride in his appearance and
was known for always dressing well. He carried himself with
confidence and style. Beyond his outward appearance, he
possessed a warm spirit that often made him the life of the party.
He had a special love for children, and they naturally gravitated
toward him. Whether sharing laughter, offering encouragement, or
simply spending time together, Ortagus had a unique ability to
make children feel loved and valued. He also found great joy in
cooking and grilling for family and friends. Many cherished
memories were made around meals he prepared.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Louis Green; his bonus
mom, Barbara Green; his sisters, Latrina (Russell) Cox and
Felicia Adams; his brothers, Minus (Keisha) Adams, Bridges
Jones, Vandale Dorsey, and Terrence Green; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear
friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Adams, and his
brother, Gregory Adams.
Though his earthly journey has ended, the love, laughter, kindness,
and memories he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all
who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but never
forgotten.
