Pamala Sue Hopkins Wilson

Ms. Pamala Sue Hopkins Wilson, age 66, of Marietta, Georgia passed away April 18, 2014. She was born in Springfield, MO, March 23, 1948, the daughter of Peggy and Jim Williams and Henry and Hazel Hopkins. Pamala retired from Munich RE in 2013 and enjoyed spending time spoiling her four grandchildren and two children. Pamala is survived by her parents Peggy and Jim Williams; her daughter Tonya Maloy and her son Jason Wilson and wife Pam; grandchildren Brittin Wilson, Katherine Maloy, McLain Wilson and Jillian Maloy; siblings Steve Hopkins, Twila Pfeiffer and Fedra Baker. The memorial service for Pamala Hopkins Wilson will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm EDT. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 1:00 PM EDT at Cheatham Hill chapel, 1861 Dallas Hwy. SW, Marietta, GA 30064. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in the name of Pamala Sue Wilson to the Circle of Giving, Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, through the www.Wellstar.org.

  4. I got to know Pam from working together at Munich Re. I was her first supervisor. What a kind and loving person. I watched Jason and Tonya grow into adulthood. Pam loved you and how she cherished and loved the grandkids. I would often stop by her desk and see new pictures of the grandkids. I will always cherish the time that I knew her. She is with the Lord. I will keep you all in my prayers.

  5. I was deeply sadden to hear of the homegoing of my friend and co-worker for so many years. The many years at Munich RE we had lot of fun and shared many memory of her family and especially her children. I most remember Pam as being a part of a trio at work Pam, Jerry Holland and Shirley Zak. Pam will be sadly missed, but she is rest in peace with God who has promise us everlasting life who that believe in him. Gone but not forgotten.

  7. Pam always had a ready smile and a friendly greeting. If we were to run into each other, she ALWAYS had a story to share about her children or grandchildren. Please rely on your good memories as there are many, I’m sure. My condolences to the family.
