Ramon H. Rodriguez

Ramon H. Rodriguez, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on June 17, 2018 in Marietta, GA. Ramon was born in Havana, Cuba to the late Ramon Rodriguez Sr. and Inocencia Padron on August 31, 1933. He attended Colegio Academia Brito in Havana, Cuba and received a business degree. He married Miriam Narciandi Diaz on December 5, 1958 in Havana, Cuba. He moved to the United States in October of 1961. He retired from Metric Constructors, formerly known as J.A. Jones Construction Company, after thirty years of employment. He enjoyed music and sports. He was an avid soccer fan and enjoyed watching and refereeing soccer. Ramon is preceded in death by his parents Ramon Rodriguez, Sr. and Inocencia Padron, his brother Carlos Rodriguez, and his sister Mirtila Rodriguez. Ramon is survived by his wife of 59 years Miriam Rodriguez; Children and spouses Donna and Mark Rodriguez, Susan and Ray Rodriguez, Deanne and Shawn Case; six grandchildren Jordan Rodriguez, Emma Rodriguez, Wesley Rodriguez, Mary Ella Case, Caroline Rodriguez, and Lauren Case. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. A reception for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 23 from 1-3 pm in the parlor of Marietta First United Methodist Church, 56 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064.
