I miss my friend Richard greatly. My thoughts and prayers goes out to Ina and his children for such a loss in their family. And such a loss to our company. Richard is a legacy that we will always remember. He was an innovator, always had great wisdom, and always put others first. He was a great leader that knew how to bring the most out of all of us. We have learned much from Richard not only in business, but also with how his saw the best in everyone and encouraged them to what they could become. The last scriptures that he shared with me was John 10:10 and 1 Peter 2:24. Rest my friend. I will carry on what you have taught the best I can.

It is a very sad moment for all of us to say goodbye to a great colleague and friend, such an inspiring and motivating person. Richard was always up for a good story from former times and at the same time so creative with his visions and ideas – a real driver. It was an honor for me to work with him for so many years. He will be greatly missed and we are going to keep his memory.
My most heartfelt sympathy goes to the family and friends.
Richard was a great friend, mentor, and christian brother. We had many deep conversations about our faith which he represented in his life as well. He was a man of great integrity, morals, and character that will be missed dearly. His legacy will be carried on at Heidelberg through our team that will carry out the vision that he portrayed and instilled on our minds and hearts. My prayers to the family and to know that he is in a better place where his pain is gone and we will see him again through faith in our lord!
Richard, for me you were a fabulous colleague and friend who always produced new ideas, convinced the rest of the world, and made things happen. You contributed a lot to our team and the company’s success, always listened carefully and gave good advice. You helped people to find compromises and inspired many of us. Richard, I will dearly miss you. Ina, you and the kids are in my thoughts. Please receive my deepest condolences.
Dear Ina and Family,
I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Richard.
He was a man with inspirational dreams who made these visions become reality. It was my honor to work with him on many projects over the past years. Richard was highly respected by colleagues and customers for his outstanding passion and integrity in research, service and consulting.
On behalf of the entire team in Germany, words can hardly express our sorrow. Richard was a wonderful colleague for decades and many deep friendships were built. He will be greatly missed.
I lose a good friend, but Richard will stay in our heart and memories as a role model forever.
