Robert Leroy Wright Jr., affectionately known as “Bobby,” passed away on June 18, 2026 at the age of 45.

Bobby was a kind-hearted, hardworking, protective man who deeply loved his family. He had a special ability to read the room, make people laugh, and provide comfort and support to those he loved. He was a devoted father, family man, and friend whose presence brought warmth and strength to everyone around him.

Bobby enjoyed cooking and football. Although he and his child did not always cheer for the same football team, he never missed an opportunity to talk football and share a little friendly competition. His love for family was evident in the small moments that became treasured memories.

One memory that will always bring a smile is how he would begin phone calls by saying, “This is your father,” before continuing the conversation as if there were any doubt about who was calling. And he never ended a call by saying goodbye-instead, he would simply say, “Later,” a word that now carries a special meaning and reminder of his love.

Above all, Bobby cherished his family. His kindness, humor, work ethic, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
