Robert Patrick Maguire, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, after battling brain cancer for several months. Bob was born March 9, 1957 in Mosinee, Wisconsin, where he grew up. After relocating to Georgia, he worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation, retiring as the State Safety Officer. He had a life long love of Aviation and was able to participate in GDOT’s drone program for the last few years. Bob enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature, especially riding his bicycle. Bob was a faithful member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, where he served with the choir and in the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Mildred Weis Maguire. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Michelle McDonald Maguire. He is also survived by his twin brother, William Maguire, and six other siblings and their families, Mike Maguire, Mark Maguire, Rich Maguire, Connie Poppe, Lou Anne Heimstead, Gen Kress and their families including many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Bob was a cherished member of the St. Catherine of Siena community. I am blessed to have been a fellow member of the choir with him. His wonderful voice and talent will be missed, but even more his devotion and kindness. Many prayers for Bob and his family.
