Sal was born to the late Arinthia Warren and Eugene Patterson on February 5, 1957 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He received his heavenly wings on Saturday, June 27, 2020 after suffering from a massive stroke. Sal is survived by his lovely wife of 33 years Valerie; four awesome children Tineka Michelle, Brittneé Gayle, Brooke Shareé, and Braxton LaSalle (Keyasha); five grandchildren (He’s known as Pap) Brayden, Xavier, Maddison, Leilah, and Aaliyah; seven brothers and sisters Fernando (Leslie), Arnita, Candida (Anthony), Gina, Linardo (Margelene), Ricardo (Pam), and NaTasha, and his lifelong friend E.B. Lane; also a host of relatives and friends. Sal’s legacy of love and kindness is evident from the breadth of his impact. He never met a stranger, as he made everyone feel welcomed. He had a unique way of touching those he met in such a positive and uplifting way. 2. I worked with Sal at both the call center and the ramp. Roger worked with him when Sal drove heavyweight freight. Sal was fun to work with because of his sense of humor. He was a very kind man that cared about everyone. We are proud to have counted him as a friend. He will be missed! RIP Sal!
