Salvatore P. Marsala

Salvatore Marsala 83, earned his Angel Wings on March 30th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Salvatore grew up in his beloved Sicily, Italy. In 1973 with his dear wife, Concetta at the age of 38 he came to the U.S. to live and give his children the American dream though never forgetting his Italian heritage. He worked very hard and led by example. Salvatore served in the Italian military, loved long walks, The Italian country side, animals, his garden, cars, politics and humor but above all God and his family. He was raised in a very religious home where his family made wine, cheese and olive oil. Salvatore taught his children the importance of following Christ and being Christ like. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Concetta Marsala, his son Vinnie Marsala of Atlanta and his daughter, Maria Marsala Nieminen, granddaughter Isabella Nieminen and son in law Ari H. Nieminen of New York in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and friends throughout Atlanta, New York, Italy, Ireland and Germany. Always loved and always near.
