Sara Frances ""Honey"" Erckman

August 11, 1921 ~ April 10, 2012

Mrs. Sara Frances "Honey" Erckman, age 90, of Dillard, GA passed away Tuesday, April 10th, in Macon County, NC. Mrs. Erckman was born in Atlanta. She was the daughter of the late John Ralph Griffin and Elizabeth Lee Griffin. Mrs. Erckman was a retired Executive Secretary with Equitable Life Insurance Company. She was also the widow of the late Robert Erckman. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Erckman is survived by her son Wilbur "Buddy" Phillips Jr. of Ellenwood, GA, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Crypt-side services for Mrs. Erckman will be held Friday, April 13th, at 1 o'clock at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Donald Lee officiating. Frances, as I knew her, was my Friend and co-worker at Equitable Life, then we retired and had a wonderful time visiting, shopping and eating out together. She gave me the picture shown on the Website, which I sent to her Granddaughter. She was so generous with her love and care for me and I loved her dearly,and MISS her so.
