Shirley Louise Bevers

Shirley L. Bevers, age 71, passed away Friday February 14, 2020. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ms. Bevers was a devoted Baptist, she walked with the Lord here on Earth and now in Heaven. Shirley was also a lover of the outdoors; you could often find her gardening and even fishing. Let us not forget her love of the program “Days of Our Lives”, she would miss a doctor appointment before she would miss an episode of her show. Her greatest love was her family. She loved spending time with them, including traveling on vacation with them. Shirley is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Clifford Sr. and Mildred (Jones) VanCott; Husband WWII Veteran Joseph Bevers; Brother Clifford VanCott Jr.; and Grandson John Kenneth Johnson. She is survived by her Children Angie DeLong, Ronald DeLong, and Vicki Johnson; Grandchildren Torey DeLong, Lauren McGuire, and Stefan Zimmerman; Great Grandson Leo Johnson; and her loving Bishon companions (pets).
