Tajuana Nicole Phang was born September 8, 1980 in Lagrange, Georgia to Loretta Cook and Johnny Arnold. She was raised in Newnan, Georgia. Nicole graduated from East Coweta High School in 1999, and afterwards attended West Central Technical College to receive her dental assisting certification. She would work as a dental assistant while continuing her education for dental hygiene. Later, she would attend Real Estate Appraisal school in 2005. Nicole always had a entrepreneurial focus and spirit, and would later accomplish one of her many goals. In the fall of 2005, Nicole would establish a successful income tax preparation business in Riverdale, GA. However, she was still not satisfied and would later establish a premier and upscale nail salon in Stockbridge, Georgia during the winter of 2008. Nicole's passion included baking, cooking, and event planning. Nicole met and later married her husband, Dan Phang, in 2005. Nicole's peaceful but determined demeanor while afflicted with a terrible illness was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. The family is grateful to doctors and staff of Emory University Hospital and Piedmont Fayette Hospital who skillfully and compassionately cared for her. Nicole Phang departed this life Tuesday, July 10, 2012 peacefully at her home. R.I.PNICOLE WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PERSON NOW SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL GOD HAS CALLED HER HOME TO BE WITH HIM HE WAS READY FOR HIS CHILD TO COME HOME WITH HIM. THERE WILL BE NO MORE PAIN NO WORRIES NOTHING BUT GOD’S LOVE DAN WAS A GREAT HUSBAND WHO STOOD BY HIS WIFE UNTIL SHE TOOK HER LAST BREATHE AND IS STILL WITH HER WE LOVE AND MISS YOU NIKI UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN KEEP THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE ON YOUR FACE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS R.I.P LOVE YOU
Only met her for a few hours and it was life changing..Thank you NICOLE!!I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting this lovely young lady last year on Fathers Day at a friends bbq. She walk pass me several times and I could just feel her wonderful spirit so I stuck up a conversation with her and told her how beautiful her nails were, little did I know at the time that this woman would change my life in so many ways…Just a breif conversation and I learned so much about her, a few hours around her and I saw how caring of a mother and wife she was…When I left the bbq I prayed for her and her family, I also prayed for myself and ask God to give me the strenght that he gave Nicole to endure anything, to love life and not worry and trust that its all in his hand and he’s in control. Just a few hours around her made me look at life totally difffent and I want to say THANK YOU Nicole.. I wish I had met you sooner but God places people in your life at the time you need them and last year he knew I needed you!!! Gone but you will never be forgotten. I CANT WAIT TO HAVE THE PLEASURE OF MEETING YOU AGAIN…Until then I will continue to pray for your family!! REST IN PEACE!!

A True Friend!I still remember the first day I met Nicole. As we were moving in, she walked by and introduced herself to me. I remembered thinking, ” Wow, what a pretty chick and she’s pretty friendly too!” Over the next few weeks we ran into each other and then one day, she invited me into her place and it seems like we were Best Friends Forever after that 🙂 I had recently lost my job and I remember her knocking on my door to ” go run errands ” with her which later turned into job hunting.. LOL.. I was so mad at first, but I ended up getting the job because of her. Well we both did.. My favorite memories I have of her are when she use to invite to her place and I would watch her cook and we would have our boy talks.. I use to frustrate her so much but she never judged me.. We even had some movie nights where she would invite me over to watch a movie with her and Dan.. We had some good times. She saved my life and I will forever be grateful. Gone but definitely never forgotten!! Love you all!

Gods Greatest CreationMy beloved sister, friend, consular,and now my guardian angle.Words cant describe nor express how or what im feeling right now.I feel as tho my life has taken a dramatic turn, as tho God has taken my sunshine from me. You’ve impact, changed, and brighten everyone’s life that knew you.I’ve been blessed to have known you and share my life with you, you have help me become that strong and independence woman i am today. You believe and trust in me no matter what people say or who said it, you believe even when i doubted myself. You always see the good in people even those who didn’t deserve it.And when you make a promise with somebody you NEVER let them down.I’m not even going to say anything negative,because you never like any negative thoughts.You always say ” Tia, keep positive people in your life and block the negative ones out!” We went through a lot together, had our ups and downs.But at the end of the day, we never hated each other. You and your family always make everyone feels as tho we are part of your family.They ALWAYS greet us with open arms and open doors.i am truly blessed to have known you and your family.Also,your husband Dan have been (still is) a blessing in my life.Both of you always have a smile on your face, you guys made your enemy envy of you, just because of how kind, real, and special you are. The love you share with Dan is so real and pure nothing can compare. I can go on and on about what an amazing and kind hearted you and Dan are, but i also want people to know what a great wife, mother, and daughter you are also. Everybody that loves you will MISS you very much my angel.May your soul rest in peace now that you have completed GOD’S mission. To the Cook and Phang Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Nicole was the sweetest person that I have ever met. I thank God that He allowed her to enter my life at a time where I didn’t care about anything anymore. She was such an inspiration to me and will always be. Nicole, I hate that I lost contact with you but you WILL ALWAYS be in my thoughts and prayers and most important.. my memories! I love you!

To Dan and family I am so sorry for your loss. Nicole you were always a positive person to everyone. When I first met you, you always had a smile on your face even when you were pregnant, weren’t feeling well and had braces that were killing you, you continued to make others around you smile and you always handled your business well no matter what. From that day fourth, you was someone that I could look up to someone that I admired for being a strong young women. You gave me the inspirations to follow my dreams. You gave me knowledge that I will always cherish forever and when I didn’t think I would be able to do it, you showed me it could be done. Nicole Thank You, Thank You for everything, you will be missed deeply and never forgotten.
Nicole, you are the true epitome of beauty, class and strength ! Thank you for blessing us with your kindness and grace. Heaven has now received one of earth’s greatest Angels. We all will miss you greatly.
