Titus Livingston was born in Mexia Texas, to Titus and Elizabeth Livingston. Titus also leaves behind a younger sister Katie, whom he acknowledged and loved dearly, and he also leaves a host of nieces and nephews many who more like sisters and brothers. Titus often mention that he left home at 9 years old and that at the age of 15 his love for adventure led him to join the United States Air Force and was stationed in Hawaii. Later at the age of 23 Mr. Livingston met his wife of 63 years Bobbie Earl Livingston, who with their 4 children Wanda, Paul, Michelle, and Tenora Livingston, celebrates his life and his home going; along with his 9 grandchildren DeVere, Crystal, Danilo, Tiffany, Maricia, Vanessa, Jamora, Ashley and Alexis. 9 great-grandchildren Charmaine, Denise, Alexander, Madison, Nyomi, Aniya, Christopher, Joshua and Jayden. He was blessed with 2 great great grandchildren Lloyd and Layla Snow. Over the years Titus’s adventures lead him to work in several positions, A cook in Lawry’s Steakhouse, Honeywell, Ford Motor Company where he retired. He ran a successful you buy we fry fish market for several years. Later working at People Coordinated Services, serving those who sought to rehabilitate their lives from addiction. Titus was a loyal member of the Masonic order Prince Hall right of adoption and Past Master for the Western night Lodge number #56. Titus was also a member of Starlight Chapter #51 and served as Worthy patron three times and HE served in the Heroines of Jericho. Mr. Livingston made a change in his life by excepting Jesus Christ as his Lord savior when he became a member of Mount Pilgrim Christian cathedral well known as Pilgrim Country. He served as a deacon under the kind and loving leadership of Bishop Richard D. Sanders. Mr. Livingston chose to live his final years in the state of Georgia aiding his daughter Michelle as he continued to serve and worshiped the Lord at the International Gospel Outreach church (IGO). On August 27th, 1:20 p.m. 2018 in Mableton Georgia surrounded by family and friends in his granddaughter’s home; just as freely as he lived his life Titus’s stepped onto a beaten path made of gold and commended his Spirit into the hands of the Lord. I Corinthians 13:4 NKJV love bears all things, love believes all things, love hopes all things, endures all things, and love never fails. We will always love whoever he was to each of us who cared, rather he was Father, husband, grandfather, brother or friend. But more importantly is the complete knowledge that our good father was a child of the Highest King. Our Father ran this race and finished it in the only way that he could by faith. Our father was a loving father and grandfather who because he loved his grand and great-grandchildren, spent the final chapters of this life traveling between the three states of California and Oregon. He even traveled to the states of Virginia and Florida. He would always be remembered for his care free personality and his now famous phrase, "just do it!" And the joy he showed us all when teaching his grand children how to read and count the best way he knew how, with the Webster dictionary, history books, a stack of cards and dominoes. We will always remember his love for history, politics, horse races, and a pack of dominoes. He was so loved by his grandchildren that they called him Daddy often affectionately referring to him as Champ. We once brought him a plaque that said, "Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be called dad." “Remember my spirit, that’s the real me. I’m still very much alive, oh if you could only see! I’ve beheld our Father’s face. I’ve touched my Savior’s hand. The angels all rejoiced as I entered the Promised Land. Beyond the gates of pearl, I walk on golden streets. I’ve touched the walls of jasper, dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words, nothing can compare I’ve even seen your mansion; someday I will meet you there. Allow Jesus to be your guide, His word will show you the way and We will meet again someday! "Patsy Stambaugh Deskins" 1cor 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
