Trashell Nieeshia Gail Rodriquez Washington was born on June 29, 1963 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. At a young age she and her family moved to New York City. She graduated from Far Rockaway High School at the age of 13 in Queens, New York. Later, after graduation she returned to Far Rockaway High School to become a mentor. Trashell’s life was far beyond that of an average person; aside from raising a significant number of children that were not hers throughout the years; she fought an overwhelming and unbearable battle with Leukemia. Not only did this disease take a toll physically, but it took a toll mentally and emotionally on her. She was so full of life, joy, and determination. Anyone who knows her knows she fought a good fight and she will forever be missed. Trashell left an imprint on our hearts that will keep us grounded. She may be gone but her love is EVERLASTING. Heaven has gained another Angel. Trashell is proceeded in death by her parents and son Charles Love Kelley. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, William Alton Washington Jr.; Seven children and two stepdaughters; Antwone Mozhhar Kelley (Natasha), Christopher MCarae Wilson, Hattie Mae Wilson, Anthony George Broadnax, Mariah Sapina Ka-keena Jackson(Marcus Jackson), Trashell Nieeshia Carraway II, William Alton Washington III, Shawndrekia Washington (Keith Hubbard) and Chanella Washington; and one sister Willie Mae Carraway. She also leaves behind 37 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children and a host of friends and family.
