Vielka Chavarría, age 66, born in Panamá and a longtime resident of Clayton County, GA went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2020 after complications with cancer. Vielka is preceded in death by Daniel Chavarria, her husband of 40 years. Vielka is survived by her fiancé Stanley Byars of Riverdale, GA; her daughter Jackie Cash (husband Kenny) of Jonesboro, GA; her son Danny Chavarría, 4 sisters and 2 brothers of Panamá; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Vielka attended the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro (FBCJ) and had many other family and friends she loved and inspired. In her most difficult time Vielka remained strong and faithful, continuing to share Christ with all who met her. The family will have a private celebration of life event at a later date. In lieu of flowers and cards please make donations to FBCJ Missions in Vielka’s honor.

My condolences to the Chavarria family, I know that a time like this it is very difficult because no human wants to lose a love one to death. You can have hope. “There is going to be a resurrection.”—Acts 24:15. God promises to bring back to life countless people who have died, and he yearns to do so. Moreover there is also hope that there will be no more pain,suffering, or death again soon at Revelation 21:4.
