Vivian Jayne Mobbs

Vivian Jane Wix Mobbs, 73, of Marietta, GA passed away July 12, 2018. She lost her biological parents, Earnest O. & Annie Lois DeFoor Wix, at a very young age and was raised by her Aunt & Uncle, Mary Ellen & Lemuel David Mitchell whom she lovingly referred to as Mother and Daddy. In addition to all 4 parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers Rev. Leonard Woodrow ‘Bud’ Wix and Daniel Mitchell; one sister, Millie Ann(Lucius) Conner. Vivian is survived by her husband of 50 years, William C. Mobbs; daughter, Cayce Mobbs both of Marietta, GA; sister, Peggy McCullough of Carrollton, GA; brother, Samuel (Joyce) Mitchell of Shreveport, LA; brother & sister in-laws Roger and Andrea Mobbs of Woodstock, GA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration gathering will be held July 28, 2018 from 11AM – 4PM at 4245 Highborne Drive NE, Marietta, GA 30066
