Wansley Bridges Compton, age 88, of McDonough, GA passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017. She was born on June 6, 1928 to Otis A. and Avy (Bradfield) Bridges. She married Thomas Neil Compton and he preceded her in death. Ms. Compton was a homemaker and loved to cook. Surviving are five children, Karon Mitchell, Patti Delk, Joseph Compton, Jan Wiggins, Gregory Compton; a brother, Robert "Tony" Bridges; five grandchildren, Joshua Wiggins, Keri Mullennix, Jesse Delk, Brian Compton, Kati Compton; four great grandchildren, Tyler Delk, Hayden Delk, Matthew Delk and Kevin Delk.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA. Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill in charge of arrangements 770-919-7100.
