William Ray Copeland, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017. He was born on July 30, 1952 to John and Marie Copeland. He proudly served his country as a Marine. William worked as a contractor for the government. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Harris) Copeland; 2 sons, William Copeland, Bobby Harris; a daughter Sheilay Nixon. Five sisters, Candress (Allen) Hathaway; Mary Helen Gilmore; Geraldine (Curtis) Mason; Debra Jordan; Sally (Jerome) Stewart. Preceded in death 3 sisters Virginia Mae (Robert) Giles; Rosa Frazier; Sharon (Michael) Saunders, one brother John E. Copeland Jr. He had an host of brother in laws as well as many nephews and nieces. He also has 8 grandchildren who love him dearly.
